Masters Nationals, we were there!



Thanks to everyone for making March 30th a special day for me..here is the Howard Cohen Weightlifting Arena in Savannah, GA, inside and out...plus me and my coach Brendan Gilliam who helped keep me sane and lifting (sorta) big! Thanks B! Also thanks to the Crossfit community for all your positive thoughts, support and for giving me the "ready state" of elite fitness to do this.....it has been positively overwhelming! Thank You.

Not ready for a pup...

This little guy looks like my late Hammer...a Jack Russell who I loved like a child...but I am too busy to give time to one like this who needs a lot of it!!
Workout: Handstand 1 minute, hold bottom of the squat for 1 minute, 5 rounds.

A lifetime of sports. I was lucky my parents were into it. It made all the difference in my activity levels today.
Workout: Sprint 100 meters, Walk 100 meters, 10 rounds. Make sure you warm up well, and if you haven't sprinted in a while...work your way up to 100%.

My favorite training ground...

Lincoln High....and the kids are rippin' lifters too...and their coach no slouch either...well...they act like he is, but those guys lift BIG weight and it is much because of him (Coach D)!!!!! Thanks to all of them for letting me be a part of their training.

SKI Time:

Can you believe this will be my first ski day of the season?? At least it is my kinda day...fair- weathered and great snow. I will be coaching the Snowbird Womens' camp for the next 3 days.
